Sheared drive shaft bolts!
I've just finished a nice early morning walk, due to all the nut's shearing on one of the drive shafts, ha ha ha! Does anyone have any idea of the size i need. Thanks in advance, Newly fit Tom.
They are 8mm cap bolts (high tensile) approx 70mm long. just measure the width of the drive shaft hub and add 15-18mm. If there are nuts on the drive shaft flange add 8mm.

It's not uncommon for the bolts to come loose and drop out!

Sorry for the second message, the first has a load of pictures and needs checking before it can be posted; i sent it from my phone and was unable to edit the picture sizes. Anyway, the dif mount has been bent backwards on one side, will it be ok to bend it back and remount the dif?

I'm home. I have a few pic's of the damage now it's up on ramps, the diff mount is bent and one of the rubber mounts on the fuel pump has gone. Arrggg

A friend and i have managed to bend the support back, we are about 7mm off straight, i hope this will not effect the dif? Thanks again.

They are 8mm cap bolts (high tensile) approx 70mm long. just measure the width of the drive shaft hub and add 15–18mm. If there are nuts on the drive shaft flange add 8mm.

Thanks for all the advice (could not find any slimmer friends LOL)
I made it to Goodwood, and back with no trouble in a fully laden Bean. It was alot of fun its good to see the cars and then even better to watch them tear up the hill; an old Escort rally car hit the hay and lost some of its body work! I've uploaded some pictures here.

It's not uncommon for the bolts to come loose and drop out!
