General question , does a limited slip diff give better road holding/traction because it is less likely to spin the rear wheels . Is it likely to help with traction at motorway speeds in the rain.

Hi Is there an address or something of Fritz Bitz?? I'm interested and as the pound is at a record low it could be interesting for me. greetz Guido

Guido de Oude 12 December 2008 12:48

Fritz’s Bitz often have one – usually go for around 350 quid. I thought all the e21 LSD’s were 3.45:1?

Hi to all, Has anyone got a lsd for sale?????? cheers Cameron

cameron weir 11 February 2008 21:44

lsd's give better dry traction at lower (than motorway) speeds, when powering out of or around a corner. this is because the plates in the diff limit the wheelspin of the inner tyre, and the power...

Period performance parts are half the fun to me personally. I like to give my cars a bit of my own mark on them whilst retaining what BMW's are all about. i.e the driving experience.
